I need to rebuild the carb, drain the tank, replace a couple gaskets, and get a new battery. Then I’ll have it towed to my mechanic so he can tell me how many brake components need replaced, and if I need new rings. Instead of buying a wagoneer, I might try and make this worthy of a road trip to Saskatchewan.

Assuming the fuel accumulator’s been sorted, it needs a new rear cam seal, new fuel filter, new tires, front pads & fluid flush, and a bunch of other body & trim repairs that can wait.
Also, the almighty California smog that decides how much more I’ll put into it.

Yeah this isn’t the work I’m worried about. It’s the likely replacement of most or all of the brake system, and the engine likely needing rings.
